Baosteel to build North West China largest steel production base in Xinjiang

It is reported that the largest steel production base in Northwest China, established by Baosteel Group was settled in Baicheng County, Aksu District of Xinjiang with the total investment of CNY 8.11 billion. As one of the major construction projects in Xinjiang, aims to produce 2 million tonnes per year of crude steel by 2012 and becoming the largest steel production base in Northwest China at that time.
