maerskgif_thumb_thumb_thumb_thumb.gifThe integration of Brostrom and Maersk Tankers was ahead of schedule both in terms of time and synergies, Maersk Tankers said this week. Speaking with 'TANKEROperator', CEO Kristian Morch confirmed that once this had been completed, all the activities in the sector below 25,000 dwt will be handled from Gothenburg, while all the vessels above would be administered from Copenhagen.
This split includes all vessels operating in the various pools, on management contracts and on timecharter.
He said that it was important to bear in mind that Brostrom’s Gothenburg operation would be fully integrated into Maersk Tankers, which includes shared policies and systems etc.
