APL inaugurates first European line at Fuzhou

APL'S European service has made its maiden call at the Fuzhou International Container Terminal. This is the terminal's first shipping line to Europe, offering shippers in, and from regions around Fuzhou, a more convenient option for shipping their trade cargo to Europe, Xinhua reported.
APL deployed nine ships of 8,000-TEU range on the line. Port rotation is Ningbo, Yangshan, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Singapore, Colombo, Suez Canal, Port Said, Southampton, Zeebrugge, Hamburg, Rotterdam and Salalah. The line calls at Fuzhou every Wednesday.
