 Tokyo Electric Power Co. (9501.TO) said Tuesday it agreed to renew a liquefied natural gas purchase contract with six suppliers operating in western Australia. 
The Japanese power company known as TEPCO said the contract is to buy
300,000 tons of LNG a year for eight years starting April from BHP
Billiton Petroleum, BP Developments Australia, Chevron Australia, Japan
Australia LNG, Shell Development and Woodside Energy.
