xinjiang_map.jpgXinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in Northwest China plans to produce 80 million tons of coal in 2009, according to the Regional Coal Bureau. Of the total, five major state-owned coal enterprises in the region, including Shenxin, Luxin, Xukuang, Shanxi Coking Coal and Yankuang will account for 39.45 million tons, and 272 local coalmines for 23.91 million tons.
